Senior Clinical Psychologist Carolina Barreto’s goal is to improve your sense of wellbeing, help you turn your emotions into tools to create more meaningful connections, adapt to challenges and move forward.

Carolina has close to twenty years experience working with individuals, couples, government bodies, and organizations. Carolina has a degree in Psychology (magna cum laude) and a Postgraduate Degree in Movement Therapy.

After almost two decades as a psychologist, Carolina is still fascinated by the interconnection between movement and emotion.

She uses her clinical expertise and deep understanding of psychology to uncover the mystery of our actions, thoughts and emotions.

Carolina also supports and treats people impacted by human trafficking, trauma and cross-cultural issues. 

She has a long-standing role as the consultant Psychologist for the Freedom Partnership, and the Salvation Army Safe House (the first Shelter for Victims of Human Trafficking in Australia). Part of this role involves consulting with, and training, the Australian Federal Police.
