Helping individuals &
the community thrive
To us the wellbeing of each and every person is vital. We believe that when individuals are thriving our community thrives too.
We are involved in a range of projects that help individuals, couples, families and the community feel more connected and grow together.

Carolina has an ongoing consultancy role with The Salvation Army Freedom Partnership where she treats victims of human trafficking and trauma, mentors survivors, and provides support to the safe house team. She also educates and works in an advisory capacity with organizations involved in the fight against modern slavery.
From civil war to peace workshops
In 2017 Carolina Barreto was awarded a Grant for Intercultural Projects from the Australian Psychological Society (APS). She travelled to Colombia to lead training workshops for psychologists, social workers, federal police, local government officials, immigration department members, and policy makers, involved in the peace process. The workshops were designed to assist those working with people impacted by the trauma of civil war and human trafficking.
Take a look at the InPsych (APS publication) article about the intervention.
